The black widows of Chechnya have struck again in Russia. They have been recruited and trained, after husbands were eliminated and are proving to most lethal. They strike fear with their wanton violence, because they can do so anytime and anywhere.
Meanwhile Putin is visiting Chavez and launchind deals with Venezuelan oil firms to produce/ pump 450,000 barrels a day. He has also discussed defence and nuclear energy cooperation. Putin also met with Bolivian President, Evo Morales. This has raised concern in the United States. Chavez has stated that he want to counter the increase of US military aid to Columbia, Washington's closest ally in the region.
Sect. of State Clinton has stated that family planning, contraception and access to legal abortion are vital to global/national health care, while Prime Minister Harper has tried to exclude these items from his "initiative" and instead emphasised nutrition, clean water and innoculation, for the upcoming G8 meeting that he will chair.. British Foreign Sect. Miliband has sided with Clinton saying that his government will fund an initiative that includes access to safe abortion. Hopefully all these "initiatives" will be on the table. They are all very crucial, especially in developing countries.
